About Our Treatment Programs
STR Behavioral Health – Lehigh Valley is a premier outpatient treatment center for substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders in Pennsylvania. To ensure each client we work with receives the best possible care, we offer separate treatment programs for substance use disorder and mental illness. Our levels of care include partial hospitalization treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (day and night programs) with the support of a psychiatric provider, licensed clinicians, and experienced professionals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options are offered at all care levels. Our programs are trauma-informed, individualized, and accredited by the Human Rights Campaign as a leader in providing LGBTQ+ services.

Levels of Care
In a safe, caring, and compassionate environment, we offer two programs for mental health and substance abuse disorders. As part of our commitment to our clients, we provide them with the ideal backdrop and help them build the foundations for their long-term recovery. At all levels of care, our clinical team offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options. As part of our Family Support Program, we also encourage and provide multiple opportunities for family therapy at all levels of care to assist loved ones of our current, past, or prospective clients.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes intimate primary process groups, practical skill education, life skills application, and relapse prevention. IOP services are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, allowing clients to choose their days/evenings based on their personal schedules. Each IOP client attends therapy sessions with a clinician once per week, as well as a psychiatric evaluation and a follow-up monthly.

We are in-network with Aetna, Allied Trades, Capital Blue Cross Blue Shield, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Quest, Geisinger, Magellan Health and Mental Health Consultants. We also can work with most major private insurance providers on an out-of-network basis, and we accept private pay.
