About Our Treatment Programs
STR Behavioral Health – Bucks County is a leading substance use and mental health disorder outpatient treatment center. We offer primary substance abuse and mental health programs, as well as dual diagnosis. Our programs include partial hospitalization treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (day and night programs) with supportive housing options. Both treatment programs are supported by a psychiatric provider, licensed clinicians, and experienced professionals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options are offered at all care levels. Our programs are trauma-informed, individualized, and accredited by the Human Rights Campaign as a leader in providing LGBTQ+ services.

We are in-network with Aetna, Allied Trades, Blue Card, Gesienger, Humana, Independence, Blue Cross, Keystone Health Plan East, and Mental Health Consultants. We also can work with most major private insurance providers on an out-of-network basis and accept private pay.

Levels of Care
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is comprised of small, intimate primary process groups, ACT, DBT, and CBT application groups, and mindfulness, nutrition, and relationship groups. PHP is offered from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Saturday. Each client in PHP attends therapy sessions with a clinician twice per week to navigate their individual needs, as well as a psychiatric evaluation and medication management follow-up on a weekly basis.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes intimate primary process groups, practical skills education, life skills application, and relapse prevention. IOP services are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, allowing clients to choose their days/evenings based on their personal schedules. Each IOP client attends therapy sessions with a clinician once per week, as well as a psychiatric evaluation and a follow-up monthly.
Supportive Housing
Our supportive housing program provides structural, emotional, and practical support for clients in our PHP or IOP treatment programs. Each of our residences is assigned a dedicated Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) who serves as a case manager, helping clients build real-world skills for employment, permanent housing, public transportation, and community integration. Our goal is to help every resident connect to recovery support and real-world resources for life after treatment.
